Jan Voss is a German artist born in 1936. First close from the Figuration Narrative group, he works on representing the daily life by inventing short stories in his paintings where are animals, characters…

Later his works are filled with black signs and watercoloured lines.

Jan Voss est un artiste allemand né en 1936. Tout d'abord proche du groupe de la Figuration narrative, il travaille autour de représentations de la vie quotidienne en inventant de courtes histoires autour d'animaux et de personnages qu'il représente en peinture. 

 

Son travail évolue ensuite vers l'étude de signes noirs et de lignes colorées.
