Born in Bruxelles,  Pierre Alechinsky is a belgian artist. His multidisciplinary  training in advertising, typography, and illustration is reflected in his work, where freedom and spontaneity create a specific language between abstraction and figuration.

He is part of the artistic movement Cobra,  created in Paris in 1948.
