Charlélie COUTURE

Charlélie Couture was born in 1956 in Nancy, France.
He lives and works in New York and Paris.

 

Charlélie is a musician and artist, and studied at the School of Fine-Arts in Nancy.

 

He has been living in New York since 2003. Far from his image of a famous musician, he has also been worked as a graphic designer and photographer. His medium of expression is photography, and his subjects are the streets of New York, its inhabitants, and its skies.

 

Over the course of thirty years, Charlélie has released 23 music albums, reflection books, poetry, novels, and has exhibited his work of photography and drawings in Europe and in the United States.

 

Charlélie Couture exhibited his photographs at the Virgile Legrand Gallery in October 2013, and has published an artist book printed in twelve copies.

Il vit et travaille à New York et Paris.

 

Charlélie Couture est musicien et plasticien, formé aux Beaux-arts de Nancy. Il vit depuis 2003 à New York, et loin de son image exclusive de music star, il s’est investi en se réinventant dans le développement de son œuvre graphique et photographique. Son medium d’expression c’est la photographie, et son sujet ce sont les rues de New York, ses ciels et ses habitants.

 

Au cours des trente dernières années, Charlélie à produit 23 albums de musiques, des livres de réflexions personnelles, des poèmes, des romans, et a exposé ses œuvres photographiques et ses dessins en Europe et aux Etats-Unis.

 

Charlélie Couture a exposé en octobre 2013 à la Galerie Virgile Legrand et a réalisé un livre d’artiste publié en douze exemplaires.
